2003 qualification as German Patent Attorney as well as registration as professional representative before the European Patent Office

2004 Tutor for European Patent Law for the CEIPI (Centre for International Industrial Property Studies)

Audio/video coding, automotive, electronics, mechanics, material sciences, measuring and control engineering

Area of practice as attorney

• Application, examination and registration proceedings for obtaining IP rights (in particular patents, trademarks, utility models and designs)
• Opposition, cancellation and nullity proceedings
• Enforcement of IP rights in infringement proceedings
• Defense of claims arising in alleged infringement proceedings
