Dr. Frank Schorr obtained his Doctorate in Natural Sciences and is a qualified German and European Patent Attorney. He has been in patent practice since 1993.

Following his studies in physics at the Technical University of Munich, Dr. Schorr worked in experimental physics during a post-graduate scholarship at the high-flux nuclear research reactor of the Institute Laue-Langevin in Grenoble, France.

Dr. Schorr handles patent prosecution in the fields of material sciences, nanotechnology, optics, mechanics, solid state physics, computing, medical products, surgical devices and methods. Dr. Schorr has also extensive experience in trademark and design prosecution as well as patent litigation and invalidation. He is also active in licensing and providing expert opinions. Dr. Schorr is a member of the German Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP) amd FICPI (Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle) as well as LESI (Licensing Executives Society International) and the German Physical Society (DPG).
